Heirs of the Night

The remaining clans have to join forces, or they will go extinct. Alisa, a young vampire, discovers she has the Spark. Why did it choose her?

Alisa meets the other Heirs when the Vamalias arrive on the ship. The Heirs hear that they’re on the ship to start vampire school.

The first night of vampire school is eventful; Alisa struggles to make friends as she has a secret to hide. Lars and Malcolm skip class and get in holy trouble.

Alisa is struggling in school. Hindrik urges her to try and fit in and keep the Spark a secret. A strange girl and a wolf sneak onto the ship.

Ivy starts her first night at vampire school. Looking for the book about Dracula’s history Alisa meets Nicu again, but they are not alone, Lars watches them.

The news of a biting vampire in town raises panic on the ship. Alisa and Ivy decide to keep what they know about it a secret.

Alisa confides in Lars and Ivy. So does Ivy. In class the Heirs learn how to talk to animals.

Alisa refuses to accept Conte Claudio’s decision. With the help of Ivy and Lars she finds the book about Dracula’s history. In the meantime, Dracula is getting stronger.

The vampires on the ship and Dracula realize more and more that Alisa has enormous powers. In the meantime, Alisa is trying out all the powers with great pleasure. Inger and Fanny teach the Heirs how to read minds, which gets Alisa in trouble.

Dracula has encountered an old enemy who endangers both himself and Alisa. The only ones who can save her are Lars and his cousins.

Alisa has a lot to process when she receives information from the past about the vampires on the ship. She ends up with Nicu at a Redmask meeting. Meanwhile Malcolm has drunk human red and is causing all kinds of trouble.

The Redmasks are preparing to attack. Contessa Viola does everything she can to protect Alisa. Eventually a new vampire joins the group.

The vampires gather while both the Redmasks and Dracula near the ship the Elisabetha.
