Li Mak-Jan, a roving swordsman, embarks on a quest to find the legendary master swordsman, Hua. Along the way, he unexpectedly encounters his former lover, who has wed a malevolent and possessive man. When the husband dispatches assassins to eliminate Li, he must evade their deadly pursuit to survive.
