Its always fun meeting friends of friends. Ina's friend Michael is doing the table and Ina is making the food. Stripped bass, cous cous with pinenuts and meringues chantilly with stewed berries and orange liquor flavoured cream.

Ina is throwing a joint dinner party with a friend. She's doing most of the cooking, with crab strudel, maple baked beans and poached fruit. Her friend is providing the setting, doing the table and buying a spiral baked ham.

Nothing beats a surprise party except a surprise baby shower. The expectant mom thinks she's coming for a quiet supper, but her friends are bringing the decorations and Ina's cooking.

Ina makes lunch for the original Barefoot Contessa store owner. She makes Barefoot classics like creamy chicken salad, Cheddar Dill Scones and Chocolate Espresso Cheesecake.

Ina makes an anniversary dinner for Jeffrey with all his favorite foods: Coq au Vin, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Chocolate Buttercream Wedding Cake.

Ina creates a farmstand-inspired table with delicious platters of smoked salmon with herbed butter, a steaming pot of ribolitta, huge open mozzarella, open-faced pesto and basil sandwiches, and pear, apple and cranberry crisps.

On the menu make a head lemon curd tart and grown up mac and cheese served with a salad dressed with a creamy vinaigrette and for his homecoming dinner mussels in white wine.

For lunch pea soup and roasted red pepper and goats cheese sandwiches and for an afternoon treat carrot and pineapple cake.

Ina Garten shares her recipe for one weekend and two easy, elegant lunches. For lunch number one, she makes a warm Duck Salad followed by Blueberry Crumb Cake, and the following day, Saffron Butternut Squash and Chocolate Sorbet.

It's a dazzling holiday dinner party for friends with a luxurious Seafood Gratin of lobster, halibut and plump pink Shrimp in a golden saffron sauce. To follow, there's a creamy Pumpkin Mousse and Spicy Mulled Wine.
