Enigmatic Mamoru (Tadanobu Asano) lives alone with his poisonous jellyfish that stings anyone getting too close. Yuji (Jô Odagiri) is his solo friend, work together in a factory. They share a dislike for boss, Fujiwara. Mamoru murders both Fujiwara and his wife.
