Catalunya Experience

Trevor and Cori, a couple from the US, travel to Sant Pere de Rodes, Port de la Selva, Cap de Creus, the house of Salvador Dali and Gala, Cadaqués, and Garrotxa volcanoes. They don't leave before visiting the famous Parc Güell in Barcelona.

Allan has just come from a spectacular trip to South America so it was a challenge to find something to totally surprise him. He is taken to a cliff in Pallars Jussà, an area with some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. As a last surprise he is taken to Tarragona for a calçotada feast.

Jarek and Beata are two Polish media stars. He is the country's most famous weatherman and Beata is a famous television presenter and political expert. We take a trip back in time with them. In Caldes de Montbui they roll up their sleeves to do some washing by hand and make noodles in an ancient bakery and relax in a Modernist spa. In the Costa Brava they sail in a fishing boat...

Annabel arrived in Barcelona after a 24- hour flight from Sydney. This tireless traveler has lived in 8 countries and visited around fifty. We invited her because she has a contagious laugh and a travel blog with more than 20,000 visits per month.

Who doesn't remember Neil, the hippy from The Young Ones! We have an aperitif with some gastronomic experts who grew up watching The Young Ones. He finds exciting things in a painting hanging in his home that was made in Barcelona. During the Dansa de la Mort procession in Verges, Nigel meets Lluís Llach and plays a supporting role. In Tarragona Oriol Grau shows him the Roman city of Tarraco.

Puan arrives at Barcelona airport full of curiosity and goes home amazed. She has never ever been to Europe and we give her a dream Catalunya Experience. Jordi Faulí, the chief architect at the Sagrada Família personally shows her around the ongoing construction. Lari the magician delights her with his tricks on the Barcelona coast. In Berguedà, Puan laughs and cries with excitement.

Corno is Dutch. He has travelled all around the world with his camera. He loves taking pictures of nature and Catalunya Experience has found him the best places to do it. We take him to the National Hunting Reserve in the Boumort Mountains. People who go there every day show him the best spots to see animals. In Lleida he visits Seu Vella.

These two Japanese sommeliers arrive in Barcelona airport with a serious look on their faces. They take them to Penedès and Priorat during the grape harvest. We visit vineyards and wineries with them and do tastings with the best oenologists: the wizards of wine and cava they have always wanted to meet. But one thing they do not expect is Pep Bou welcoming them to the world of sparkling wines.

We invited Maruschka to see Catalonia at Christmas for a reason. It is the middle of summer in Johannesburg and there they celebrate Christmas on the beach. She has never seen snow so we take her to Vall d'Aran. She puts skis on for the first time in her life, warms up with a nice bowl of local soup, and meets a local Instagrammer who follows her on social networks.
