Mythical Roads

Almost one and a half centuries have passed since the novel "Michael Strogoff" was published in 1876. At the time, Russia was only known to a handful of erudite. But the land of czars is the stuff of dreams and Michael Strogoff was a rousing success.

In this episode, we will follow a big imaginary loop and make it come to life, a circuit of more than 3200 kilometers, the Trans-Laponia, a road without night. During this circuit, we will discover some unusual lifestyles along shores of the Barents Sea and of the Baltic.
