Marco lives in Milan and he is forced to take a second-best job that makes him unhappy. He decides to take a vacation, leaving for Calabria on his mountain bike. Cycling south, he crosses fabulous landscapes and villages rich in history. In the meantime, he meets Ilaria, a young and lively girl, with whom he decides to share the rest of the adventure, ending up falling in love with her.
