When a Man Loves

Han Tae Sang is not your ordinary loan shark, as he dislikes using violence to force money out of debtors. He meets Seo Mi Do, the fiery daughter of one of the debtors who's not afraid to sell herself to save her family.

Han Tae Sang hires Seo Mi Do to work at his company.

Seo Mi Do goes on a business trip to a tropical resort and bonds with a fellow traveler while Han Tae Sang remains at the office, unable to get in touch with her.

Seo Mi Do returns to Korea where Han Tae Sang continues to try and get closer. Meanwhile, Lee Jae Hee is heartbroken that Mi Do had to leave.

Chang Hee is released from prison and Tae Sang helps him to resume his life, which becomes difficult when Yong Gap returns to dig up old skeletons.

Tae Sang does his best to get back on Mi Do's good side after her shock from seeing him in the office brawl.

When Tae Sang's uncle causes a scene in his office, Mi Do tries to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Jae Hee is determined to win over Mi Do's heart.

Jae Hee discovers Mi Do's close relationship with Tae Sang, which prompts him to act immaturely around the two of them. Goo Yong Gap interferes with Tae Sang's business deals.

Sung Joo makes her moves to get closer to Tae Sang, leaving Mi Do to question him about their relationship.

To keep a distance between Mi Do and Jae Hee, Tae Sang decides to go on the business trip with them.

Mi Do's wish of working in London is cut short by Tae Sang's insecurities.

Even with his brother's warnings to let it go, Jae Hee continues to pine after Mi Do behind Tae Sang's back.

Jae Hee tells Tae Sang how he feels about Mi Do and refuses to back down.

Though Jae Hee and Mi Do are now in love, Chang Hee refuses to allow them together, as he wants everything back to the way it was before.

Seo Mi Do survives the hit-and-run, but loses her memory and ability to walk as a result.

Tae Sang and Jae Hee are on the search for the truth, and Mi Do finally makes a painful admission to Tae Sang.

When Chang Hee gets into an "accident", Jae Hee suspects Tae Sang is behind it.

When Chang Hee stays in a coma, Jae Hee tries to get to the truth of what really happened that night.

Han Tae Sang discovers who his younger brother really is and reunites with his mother.

As Tae Sang and Sung Joo prepare for their wedding, unrequited relationships and long lost family members will finally find closure.
