Hitler’s Circle of Evil

In the aftermath of WW1 Germany is on its knees. The country is crying out for a savior and wealthy occultist Dietrich Eckart thinks he's found him - a young soldier named Adolf Hitler. Others soon join them.

After the failure of the Munich beer hall Putsch the Nazi party is in turmoil. Whilst in prison writing 'Mein Kampf' Hitler has an epiphany - power through legitimate means.

Following the collapse of successive German coalition governments due to their inability to stabilize the economy after the crash the Nazis steadily increase power.

In 1933 there is a secret power struggle between the larger-than-life war hero Hermann Göring and the spin doctor and vociferous anti-Semite Josef Goebbels.

As the Third Reich prepares for war ruthless infighting divides the leadership of the Nazi party. Rudolf Hess Hermann Göring and Josef Goebbels are all vying to be the Fuhrer's favorite.

As Europe is engulfed by war Hitler's loyal Deputy Rudolf Hess is feeling increasingly isolated from the inner circle. He's desperate to regain the Fuhrer's attention and trust but as time goes by he's pushed further and further from the center of power.

In 1939 as the Nazis invade Poland SS boss Heinrich Himmler orders his deputy Reinhard Heydrich to set in motion a terrifying program of ethnic cleansing.

In early 1942 the Nazi's invasion of Soviet Russia has reached a critical stage. Hitler needs to build more tanks and aircraft fast but he takes an extraordinary gamble.

There is unrest in Nazi ranks. Hitler narrowly escapes a bomb assassination attempt. It soon becomes clear the German Army is behind it. But it fails to destroy the Third Reich and makes its inner circle even more powerful.

Hitler the "all-conquering genius" is falling apart and his entourage isn't doing what they're told. Behind the propaganda the inner circle is a rat's nest of envy greed and vicious power plays.
