The HW crew rings in the new year in West Texas chasing Sandhill cranes with V Land & Holding. Despite tough conditions early, the birds finally roll, delivering limits and memories-especially for Eric Champlin's son, who joins the hunt. The trip ends with a classic wild blue quail flush in true Texas tradition.

In the bitter cold of Torrington, Wyoming, the HW crew teams up with High Plains Wingshooters for late-flying geese and all-day pit blind grinds. It's a battle of patience, but the rewards come heavy-culminating in fresh pushes of new birds and a snow-covered sendoff on the final day.

With frozen ponds and stale birds, the HW crew grinds through the final week of Canada goose season at home. Armed with ice ripplers, scouting, and determination, they carve out success one frozen waterhole at a time-proving that with enough grit (and breakfast pizza), the season's end can still deliver.
