Jerrica Benton must find a way to save Starlight Music and the Starlight Foundation from being corrupted by Eric Raymond and the Misfits.

Fire caused by Eric drives Jerrica's family into Howard Sands's mansion, a contest prize. Both Eric and The Misfits then make more mischief. Later, at a Misfit-raided yacht party, Anthony Julian offers to direct a Jem music video in Paris.

Jem and the Holograms are heading to Paris to film their first music video. Kimber's not having much fun though since she thinks Jem is getting too much attention. Eric Raymond recognizes this upon her return and makes Kimber an offer to pursue a solo career. One of the Starlight Girls, Ashley, allies herself with the Misfits, while Rio continues to struggle with his feelings for Jem and Jerrica.

Ashley's odd behavior is finally brought to Jerrica's attention. She doesn't have time to deal with her though since she's just signed a contract for Jem and the Holograms to headline a show at a Las Vegas casino. The Misfits are not happy when they learn that they're opening for their arch rivals. But Pizzazz comes up with a plan to steal the spotlight - a plan which puts Ashley on the spot.

The Holograms rush to save Synergy from being discovered by Eric Raymond. By the night of the Battle of the Bands, Raymond and the Misfits are desperate for some way to ensure victory over their rivals. A golden opportunity presents itself when Ashley tries to end her dealings with them. Can the Holograms save Jem and Ashley in time to win the contest?

As Jem and the Holograms begin to film their new movie Starbright, Pizzazz devises a plan to steal the spotlight from them.

Ba Nee will go blind if she doesn't undergo expensive eye surgery within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, Jerrica's financial options are limited after she learns that Eric Raymond used the money from Starlight Music to promote the Misfits. Her only option is for Jem and the Holograms to finish making Starbright. That won't be easy now that the Misfits are in complete control over production.

After their lives are endangered on the set of the Misfits' movie, Jem and Holograms are forced to find an alternative way to make $250,000 for Ba Nee's surgery.

When philanthropist Sally Brand invites Jem and the Holograms to perform at a concert which raises money for victims of world hunger, Eric Raymond and the Misfits look for their own ways to cash in.

Rio, Jem and the Holograms are flying to China at the request of the Chinese government. They have the honor of performing a concert tour that includes the Great Wall itself. At the airport, Eric Raymond and the Misfits notice how reluctant Jem is to part with her earrings. They decide to steal the earrings, make copies to wear and then lead them on a chase around the city.

Jem and the Holograms take a much needed vacation to the Colorado mountains. There they meet Rick Franklin, owner of a ski resort. The girls find out that Rick's resort is being threatened by a rival ski resort owned by none other then Eric Raymond. To settle the dispute over which resort controls the mountain, Jem and the Holograms challenge the Misfits to a ski race.

When both bands are invited to compete at a rock fashion contest in Italy, the Misfits do everything in their power to weaken Shana's confidence and beat the Holograms in the competition.

As the annual Music Awards approaches, Jem and the Holograms become so focused on beating the Misfits that they fail to notice when three of the Starlight girls run away from home.

While Jerrica and the Holograms search everywhere for the missing Starlight girls, the Misfits continue their reckless campaign to win Best Musical Group at the annual Music Awards.

A book publisher wants to create a rock fashion book with the Holograms, but the Misfits are determined to do whatever it takes to ruin their project.

When the Holograms and the Misfits are in New York auditioning for roles in a Broadway show, Eric announces a cash reward to anyone who can publicly reveal Jem's secret identity.

The Misfits steals Jem's latest album to record it as their own. Meanwhile they embark Jem and the holograms on a treasure hunt to recover their missing tapes.

The Misfits and The Holograms are both invited to compete in the "Battle of the Music Stars", a Battle of the Network Stars type event in Honolulu. Eric's hired thug, Zipper supplies the Misfits with rigged sports equipment to give them the edge in the competition. Later on, Kimber is kidnapped, and the Holograms have to find her in time to compete in the final event.

In a case of mistaken identity, Kimber is kidnapped by a group of criminals who think she is Princess Adriana of Morvania.

During a cruise The Misfits play a trick on Jem and The Holograms that backfire and they all fall overboard. Stranded on a deserted island, both rock bands must learn to survive together.

Jem and the Holograms encounter an elderly singer who doesn't like how they covered his popular 1950's song "Rock and Roll is Forever."

Eric Raymond does everything in his power to destroy the race car which Starlight Music is sponsoring at the Indy 500.

When the Holograms exclude the Misfits from their prominent lineup for the upcoming Jem Jam concert, the Misfits try to retaliate against them and ruin the event.

Jem and the Holograms struggle to save their Jem Jam benefit from the Misfits' destructive forces. Meanwhile, Ba Nee tries to convince Jerrica that drummer Randy James is her long-lost father.
