Vash saved the town with just one bullet. However, the townspeople went after him knowing he was worth 6 million. What made it worse was that the vicious criminals Nebraska Family who escaped from prison also joined the hunt. Vash was in danger again! Can this Humanoid Typhoon have a moment of peace?

The PLANT robbery came to an end. As the people of Jeneora Rock were enjoying their drink, the momentary peace was disturbed by self-propelled bombs. Vash found out that this was the work of E.G. Mine and tried to prevent the detonation. Meanwhile, a man appeared...

Million Knives took the PLANT, leaving the town devastated. Vash went to the third city of July to find him. On the way there, they encountered a mysterious man who claimed to be a member of Gung-Ho-Guns. He carried a huge cross wrapped in layers of cloth and wore a black suit that stood out in the sand. The man called himself Nicolas D. Wolfwood.

Nicholas joined Vash on their journey. On their way to find Million Knives, they passed by a village on the border of the red desert, Windmill Village. The windmill can't generate power because there's no wind. And suddenly Vash recognized danger from the seemingly empty ruins...

Vash and Nicholas took the sandsteamer to travel through the desert to the third city of July. A presumed safe journey turned into danger as a new assassin Livio appeared on the ship. Nicholas was reminded of his past as the two parties engaged in a gunfight.

To stop the assassin, Livio, from continuing to spiral out of control, Vash fights alongside Nicholas. With the gunfight and the attack from Bad Lads Gang, the battle became more and more intense. Amid the chaos, someone modified the course of the sandsteamer, which was sailing towards the third city of July. It suddenly lost control and traveled speedily toward Nicholas's hometown Hopeland.

A long time ago, a human migrant ship in search of a new planet had an accident. Vash and Knives took the lifeboat and arrived in No Man’s Land with the help of Rem. Vash lost his way in the endless desert and gradually lost consciousness…

Vash lived with Luida and Brad, while Knives followed Konrad, the leader of a research organization who survived the Big Fall. One day, the biological power furnace PLANT in a facility working for revival had an abnormality. Under the red light of the PLANT, the separated twins met again.

Meryl and Roberto were taken to July by Zazie and told why humans came to No Man’s Land. The leader of the Sinners, researcher Conrad, showed up. He’s been experimenting on the human body at Eye of Michael. Now the past started to unveil itself. Meanwhile, Vash and Nicholas arrived at the top floor of the July Tower where Knives is. What fate awaits them at the end of this endless journey?

Vash walked into a trap set by Knives. He fell into a tank filled with a solution that connects the PLANT, and Knives forced his way into Vash’s memory. Although treated with hatred, Vash still loves and protects humans. The cherished memory that supported him all this time was... Meanwhile, Meryl, who turned back for Vash, is about to see something beyond belief.

Learning the truth about TESLA, the twins are destined to become enemies and clash with each other. During his 150 years of travel, Vash loved and protected humans on the planet. Knives seeks revenge on humanity to save his abused fellow PLANT. Their own justice will run through the streets of July, and this never-ending journey is reaching its last chapter. What kind of fate awaits them…
