Valentine Casey is a Marshal in desolate Tucson, Arizona in the early 1900s. On Christmas Eve, his outlaw family pays him a disturbing visit, and he realizes he must confront the sins of his past. Taking a stand against the band of outlaws led by his foster father and two foster brothers, Casey and his partner journey through the desert to a small town to save Casey's love, Adelyne.
