Special Forces: World's Toughest Test

Recruits face their first brutal challenge: repelling from a military helicopter and hauling 800 pounds of supplies in 100-degree heat behind enemy lines.

The recruits are strapped inside an old cargo plane then lowered into a dam 215 feet below them, forced to escape underwater. Then, the recruits go head-to-head in an intense military-style boxing match.

With only a radio and each other, recruits must locate fallen comrades behind enemy lines-then race across rooftops when their mission is suddenly compromised.

The recruits must focus as they plummet down a 330-foot drop, then at the bottom, they are asked to recite a set of coordinates which they were asked to memorize prior to the drop. Then, the recruits are split into teams and challenged to navigate through tight tunnels and trenches.

The recruits are split into teams and compete to be the first group to complete an intensive race in the blistering heat. Later, in pairs, the recruits backwards dive off a platform in sync, facing their fears through teamwork.

In the "Postman's Walk" challenge the remaining recruits are split into teams and have 10 minutes to sidestep along a 165-foot stretch of rope suspended 200-foot above a canyon floor. Then in one of the most brutal tasks of selection, the "Murderball" challenge, the recruits are split into two teams and must fight to get a ball over the opposition's goal line.

The remaining recruits are paired up to find a vital intelligence package and retrieve a hostage before the compound is filled with deadly gas and explodes. Then, the recruits compete against each other in an excruciating obstacle course and get emotional as they write their "Death Letters" to their loved ones.

In one of the most intense physical challenges yet, the remaining recruits carry tires, ropes, and chains up a mountain. Then, the recruits are split into two teams to attempt an extraction operation and are uplifted by heartwarming messages from home.

In the final week of selection, the recruits are subjected to a multi-stage process of interrogation and are placed under gradually increasing duress. The recruits must create a believable lie as to why they are with the special forces and are then placed into confinement where they confront distressing sounds and restrictive body positions.
