Luo Si Yi is a 31 year old office worker who has had no luck in love. Chen Kuan is an uptight manager who is very cold to those around him. Their first encounter doesn't seem to go too well.

Si Yi refuses to believe she won't get married and decides to forget her painful past and look for somone new.

Chen Kuang becomes the laughing stock during the meeting because of a big hole in his jacket, caused by Si Yi's sister. More hilarity ensues when he ends up meeting her mom and sister.

The spoiled Vivian encounters Si Yi again, and things don't end well as we find out that she is the Inspector of the company. Si Yi puts her all into the company and earns Chen Kuans respect.

Chen Kuans heart was never Vivian's,and it seems it's found it's place with Si Yi. Vivian is not going to let this go without a fight.

Chen Kuan begins to realize his growing feelings for Si Yi, but Vivian wishes to push the engagement dinner earlier. Chen Kuan helps Si Yi extract revenge on her ex, hoping she'll have more confidence in herself.

Yi Chun still has an effect on Si Yi, but no one around her wants him around her. Si Yi catches Ah Zhe having an affair with Ting Ai. What will become of Xiao Ke's wedding?

The group heads to the beach for some volleyball, where they stumble upon Yi Chun. Hegets hurt and Si Yi helps put medicine on, making Chen Kuan jealous.

Although Si Yi seems to be wavering, Xiao Ke tells Yi Chun to stay away. While trying to help her friend, Xiao Ke's relationship takes a turn for the worst when she finds out about Ah Zhe's affair.

Si Yi brings Xiao Ke on a trip to cheer up. Chen Kuan and Sheng Jun happen to be at the same place and they hang out together.

Ting Ai stirs up trouble when she becomes Vivian's informant on Chen Kuan's whereabouts. Vivian does everything in her power to keep Chen Kuan by her side.

Vivian makes Si Yi resign, but Chen Kuan won't have it. Vivian uses her dad to get her way, again. Chen Kuan has a hard time deciding what to do since he's supposed to be like a son to Vivian's father.

Cheng Kuan sets out to make it on his own, but finds that breaking away from Guang Qiang may not be easy. Meanwhile, Vivian plans to change her strategy for keeping Cheng Kuan.

Cheng Kuan's extended vacation is cut short when he decides to get back to work, where Si Yi is now working closely with Yi Chun.

Cheng Kuan and Yi Chun continue to vie for Si Yi's attention while Vivian conspires with others at work to get Cheng Kuan back.

Guang Qiang's direct competitor releases an identical product and a spy is suspected of being the source of the leak.

Si Yi is accused of being responsible for the Guang Qiang product leak and is forced to leave the company.

Cheng Kuan proposes to Si Yi, but Si Yi lacks the courage to give him an answer.

Vivian makes one last attempt to undermine Cheng Kuan's proposal to Si Yi. Meanwhile, Sheng Jun tries to find the courage to confess his feelings for Xiao Ke.

Vivian is not yet done trying to make Cheng Kuan hers and even her father steps in to make sure Si Yi becomes nothing more than a memory.

Si Yi spends a peaceful day with Cheng Kuan, but needs to make a difficult decision regarding his, her, and Vivian's future happiness. Yi Chun has yet to give up, however, and looks for an opportunity to find his happiness, too.

Cheng Kuan's wedding is set to begin and Si Yi prepares to leave with Yi Chun, but surprising revelations and another unexpected change of heart turn everything on its head.
