Convoy

The convoys of ships bringing crucial supplies from North America was the only thing that stopped Britain from surrendering to the Nazis in WWII. In part 1 of this 4 part documentary series we learn more about the German U Boats and how they targeted the British supply convoys.

Convoy ships carrying vital supplies across the Atlantic are sinking fast and now the British have no choice but to find a way to fight back against the deadly U-boats.

In 1942 the battle continues and Hitler is now desperate to inflict the final blow to the British. He orders his U-boats to North America in search of the British ships to try and collapse the Allies.

In 1943 there were more U-boats prowling the Atlantic then ever before, making it impossible for Allies to be able to deliver weapons necessary for D-Day. Now, to win the war, the Allies must use new technology and weapons against the Germans.
