Le Mans: Racing is Everything

In the final weeks before the race, Porsche, Audi and Nissan prepare to scale the Mount Everest of Motorsport. Historic Le Mans royalty, Porsche, hang their hopes on F1 veteran, Mark Webber, who’s nearly died on the course twice.

Over 250,000 fans from across the globe descend on Le Mans to make the race one of the highest attended single-day sporting events in the world. Nissan boldly trash talks the competition while Audi and Porsche battle for pole position in qualifying.

Porsche and Audi begin their brutal 24-hour dogfight for the lead while Jann Mardenborough’s Nissan #23 crew desperately try to get his car out of the garage. After a second place finish two years prior, Toyota’s Sébastien Buemi is after a win to make his grandfather proud.

Darkness blankets one of the world’s most treacherous car races – an event that’s claimed over a hundred lives – including that of Allan Simonsen, teammate of Aston Martin’s Darren Turner. As Turner battles to keep his concentration in the dark, the fact that he’s left behind his newborn baby to race the perilous track doesn’t escape him.
