After finding out that Eduardo's been cheating on her, Cristina cancels her wedding, and sets up interviews to find a perfect roommate so she can keep her apartment. Alejandro shows up, but he has to pretend to be gay so Cristina will accept him.

Cristina and Alejandro's friendship grows stronger, while they live their torments: she tries to rebuild her life, and he deals with his conscience. Graciela does the impossible to win back Guillermo.

Cristina decide reinventar su vida con la ayuda de Alejandro y sus amigos. Guillermo sufre por la rutina de su vida familiar. Rodrigo sufre un desengaño al descubrir que Mauricio no es quién creía.

Cristina goes on a date with an ex-love from high school, but they argue over Alejandro. Whilst drunk, Miguel brings mariachis back to Cristina's house; she and Rodrigo think he's trying to get Alejandro back. Graciela tries to win over Guillermo.

Although Rodrigo and Hannah are jealous of Alejandro's friendship with Cristina, they end up accepting him into the group. Graciela is trying to stop Camilo making her life public on the internet. Hannah has to deal with an intern who's trying to seduce her.

Esther meets Cristina and asks for help with the magazine party. She finds out that Alejandro has lied to her. Guillermo clears up Graciela's doubts. Esther manipulates Alejandro, who is worried she'll reveal his secret. Miguel falls for Hannah's charms.

Cristina meets Eduardo again at Rodrigo's birthday, revealing that Alejandro is gay. Guillermo quits his job to chase his dreams. Rodrigo rejects the idea of being with Mauricio, and shows an interest in Alejandro.

Alejandro makes it clear to Rodrigo that they're just friends. Esther orders Alejandro to reveal the truth about what happened with Cristina in an article. Graciela insists on finding work for Guillermo. Alejandro confesses to Cristina that he's not gay.

Guillermo is trying to keep his house in order. Hungover, Cristina can't remember what happened with Alejandro the night before. He's worried she won't forgive him, but Miguel assures him that she doesn't know the truth; however, one little thing makes Cristina remember everything.
