Adam (Sean Giambrone) makes a romantic mixtape for his girlfriend, only to have it hijacked by Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey). Barry (Troy Gentile) tries to impress his popular classmates with a fake ID, but his plan backfires.

When Adam (Sean Giambrone) isn't cast as the lead in the school musical, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) helps him star in a competing show. Murray (Jeff Garlin) stubbornly tries to avoid traffic, opening a rift between him and Barry (Troy Gentile).

Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Barry (Troy Gentile) are kicked out of their own garage band by Erica (Hayley Orrantia) and her best friend. A royal wedding inspires Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) to renew her vows with Murray (Jeff Garlin).
