Hosea is a provocative, modern-day retelling of a Biblical story through the eyes of the forgotten female character. When an Oklahoman call girl discovers that her first-love has moved back to town, she's given the chance to leave the sex trade and lead the life she thought she always wanted. Yet that "new life" has its own darkness, in which she must fight to gain a sense of self-worth.
