A young Irish immigrant gets a job as a streetcar conductor and fights off an attempt by crooks to take over the company, all the while pursuing the beautiful daughter of his boss. Starring Johnny Hines (who also wrote the script) and co-directed by his brother Charles Hines, CONDUCTOR 1492 is a memorable, little-seen comedy.
