In a post-apocalyptic world where the human population has been wiped out by a fungus, Danny searches for his daughter. He encounters Sam who's also immune to the fungus and the bond between them grows until it's threatened by a third survivor who has a strong belief in his own destiny. The inevitable clash reveals power is not rooted in the apocalyptic past, but with who will create the future.
