While collecting mushrooms in the forest, sisters Dashen'ka and Mashen'ka get turned into does by the evil Baba Yaga (a supernatural from Slavic folklore). Their mother Evdokiya goes in search of them, while their brother Kiryusha also attempts to find the sisters.
