Dream Season: The Journey

Mark and Terry vet out the possible teams that would appear on the second season. The teams are picked and it's pros versus amateurs.

Team Propst head to hunt up in Wyoming. Team Franzen - Thompson move their hunt to Montana. Last year's winners Dave Reisner and John O'Dell pass on their words of wisdom to the new guys.

Team Ward - Hale start up their season and when they are late getting to a stand, they decide to go on a spot and stalk mission. When Chris is up for a hunt, he gets the stand and tries out a new tactic. Team Franzen - Thompson make their mark and set up in Wisconsin. Team Peplinski - Pitcher are ready to make a name for themselves and shed some insight on what they are like. Team Franzen - Thomps

The teams converge to northern Missouri for a series of archery related competitions. Scent Blocker reps Scott Shultz and Andrea Browne with Jerry Bowles of Bowmaster of Arkansas come to Missouri to help judge the hunters alongside Mark and Terry Drury. Another twist is thrown in with an odd number of teams.

The next challenge in Missouri is a muzzleloader challenge where one member must load and sight while the other shoots. After the shoot, Team Shack - Bartos go up in a stand. Same night, Team Hale - Ward get up in a stand and think they come back to camp with good news and go back looking for a little redemption.

The challenge of the day is a team shoot out over a deer decoy, one stationary and another is mobile on a circuit. No one else seems to be able to get a buck down on the last day in Missouri but prizes are still given and the team still shares laughs and stories before departing.

The teams have left Missouri to hunt on their own. Team Hale - Ward are hunting whitetail in Virginia. Team Pitcher - Peplinski make an unbelievable encounter with an albino buck and bring down a couple bucks themselves. Bryon Thompson gets some points for Team Thompson - Franzen.

Team Hale - Ward put the work in to get it done in Virginia. Friends of Team Franzen - Thompson recruit Joe Eugster, looking to make a big eight kill. From Team Shack and Bartos is Melanie Baroskewitz making a first bow kill. Team Propst are looking to get a great buck for the first day of Missouri gun season.

Team Propst are kicking it off in rifle season and hold on to Jeff's Kansas tag. Team Pitcher - Peplinski bring Amy Peplinski to Wisconsin to get it done. Classic storytelles Team Ward - Hale are continuing their high production value on their Kansas hunt in both video and in the hunt.

Team Hale - Ward aren't ready to pack up and leave Kansas without bringing one more buck down to its knees. Team Franzen - Thompson are checking some spots they've been hunting and make a disappointing discovery. The wildlife eye proves to hold its weight amongst all the teams. Team Bartos - Shack are getting big encounters in Texas.

The teams pull out and diverge to Alabama for the last leg of the competition in January. The teams are headed out to their spots to find a good place to put their wildlife eye. Scott and Andrea demonstrate their new suits to the team and the teams head to not only test their suits, but to test their skills. The first challenge in Alabama is a bow race that requires running and accuracy.

The second day of Alabama is under way and the hunt is off to a slow start. The next challenge the teams face is the same from last year, setting up the tree stand. Also just like last eyar, the team members switch out one another for their evening hunt. Al Shacklett is out in a stand with Eric Hale and a little luck may come their way.

The wildlife eye season competition was split and graciously. The teams are now reviewed and are under question by the judges. Darrell asks if the teams felt they were neglecting their families. Scott asks how scent protection worked in their hunts. Terry asks if the hunters on the same team knocked heads at all. Mark asks the amateurs if they've joined the Drury Outdoors team.
