Only twenty years after the Great War the war to end all wars, the nations of Europe once more faced each other across the battlefield. Technology had moved on though, and this time there would be no stalemate. The Blitzkrieg tactics of the Nazis, the area bombing strategies of the Allies and territorial aspirations of an industrialized Japan meant that this was going to be total war.
