Tabby McTat and his busker friend Fred delight crowds with their duets until fate pulls them apart. Tabby is lost without Fred but he stumbles into a new life with a feline friend named Sock. Tabby and Fred finally have an emotional reunion. Tabby, a new father, passes the music on when his kitten Samuel Spratt becomes Fred's new partner in song.
