My National Team of Colombia

The Colombian National Team begins a new era with a new coach, Reinaldo Rueda, a veteran technical director who injects new hope while the teams plays in the World Cup Qatar 2022™. With very little time to put together a team, they have to face Perú in Lima and Argentina in Barranquilla.

After a great start in the first two games with the Colombian team, coach Reinaldo Rueda has to get the team ready to play in the Copa América, scheduled to take place in Colombia and Argentina. Goalkeeper David Ospina is ready for the challenge. Things begin to unravel and Rueda and the team are in danger of facing many disadvantages due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social unrest in Colombia.

Climbing to the highest ranks in the soccer world is a major achievement. Especially if players are born in underprivileged areas where they face many adversities. Two players in particular, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and Yerry Mina, never forget their roots and do what they can to help the team get ahead. They make their mark as the Colombian team continues to face the pressure in the Copa América.
