The Fisherman and His Wife is the story of a poor fisherman and his wife who live in a little hut near the sea. His wife asks the fisherman if he asked the fish to grant him a wish. When the fisherman answers no, his wife insists that he return to the sea and ask the fish to give them a decent cottage to live in.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses is a fairytale by the Brothers Grimm about some beautiful daughters that somehow manage to sneak out of their bedrooms every night to go dancing. Their father is desperate to find out what they are up to and enlists the help of potential suitors to find out.

The story is about the statue of a prince and a little swallow who sacrificed their lives in order to help the poor. There was a statue of a prince called the Happy Prince covered with gold, having sapphires for eyes and ruby in his sword. One day, a little swallow which was on his way to Egypt landed on the statue.

The story takes place in the early autumn. A girl named Ida is upset because the heads of her flowers are drooping. A student tells her that the flowers are exhausted because they have been dancing all night at a ball. He tells her that the flowers hold balls almost every night at the castle on the edge of town.

The story tells of a prince who wants to marry a princess but is having difficulty finding a suitable wife. Something is always wrong with those he meets and he cannot be certain they are real princesses because they have bad table manners or they are not his type.

A snake met him, but was a transformed princess. She told him if for three nights he let twelve black men beat him, she would be freed. He agreed and did it, and she married him, making him the King of the Golden Mountain, and in time bore him a son. When the boy was seven, the king wanted to see his own parents.

A pilot, stranded in the desert, meets a little boy who is a prince on a planet. Based on the story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, this magical musical fable begins as a pilot makes a forced landing on the barren Sahara Desert. He is befriended by a "little" prince from the planet Asteroid B-612.

The novel's main conflict can be found in the fact that the Prince and Tom Canty's identities have been confused. Tom is mistaken for the prince, and the prince has been mistaken for Tom. Over the course of the novel, the boys must find their way back to the lives in which they belong

The key theme in this story is that selfishness is ultimately self-defeating and self-destructive, as these actions result in misery. As the seasons pass, the garden itself remains locked in perpetual winter, with flowers and trees refusing to bloom. When the children return, this winter finally ends.

This story is about love between friends. A little girl named Gerda was getting ready to find her friend Kai who disappeared. She crossed forests, mountains and hills to come to the Snow Kingdom and bring her friend back home. She confronts Snow Queen and shows that friendship can be permanent and last forever.

The story opens with a poor soldier returning home from war. He meets a witch, who asks him to climb into a hollow tree to retrieve a magic tinderbox. The witch gives the man permission to take anything he finds inside the chambers, but he must return the tinderbox.
