When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace

Andou Jurai is a high school sophomore with a classic example of chuunibyou, when one day he and the other four members of the Literature Club suddenly obtain super powers. One day, the members of Izumi High Literature Club each received super powers. After Andou Jurai, the member who suffers chuunibyou, lectured them on aliases in the club room, he spent his time thinking about aliases for each of them. When the student council president, Kudou, appeared after awakening to her own super power, she confesses to Andou and asks him to go out with her!

The Literature Club uses the space created by Chifuyu to play tennis, each of them using their powers for fun. On the way home, Andou thought to jot down an alias he thought up and realized he forget his chuunibyou notebook, Bloody Bible, so he went back to the club room on his own. There he meets a mysterious, handsome man who was stopping to read his Bloody Bible...

Chifuyu comes to Andou saying "I quit elementary school." For the time being, he escorts Chifuyu to elementary school where he meets her best friend Kuki Madoka. Andou left Chifuyu in the care of the reliable Kuki, but that afternoon in the Literature Club room Chifuyu starts describing the events that happened that day...

Andou arrives at the club carrying a guitar to show off. After boasting about, he bets the guitar in a match with Chifuyu, but smashes the guitar in his own mistake. On his way home, he's so focused on his guitar that he forgets his bag in the clubroom and goes back to get it.

As a present from the literature club members, Andou receives an original game featuring him as the main character. He was impressed by the quality of it. However, it was actually made primarily by Sayumi, so Sayumi took off to recover from the fatigue. The club decides to send Andou as their representative to visit her.

The literature club holds a light novel composition contest, where everyone but Tomoyo comes up with a theme. Andou works to help Tomoyo figure out how she can overcome her difficulties writing and delays heading home, where Hatoko is helping out his family by cooking dinner.

While the Literature Club has been hiding their powers from the world, there are others with far different ideas about using powers. Kiryuu Hajime, or "Kiryuu Heldkaiser Luci First" reveals a whole other side to the concept of having these unique abilities.

Right before midterms. While studying together in the clubroom, they discuss grades and learn that Tomoyo has the worst grades in the group. On their way home, Hatoko asks Tomoyo if she'd like to study together. Together they study and talk about Andou when Hatoko accidentally lets "that's not fair" slip and unsettles Tomoyo.

Summer break begins. Tomoyo fails the light novel contest and hesitates on whether or not to invite Andou to the pool in order to tell him. Meanwhile, Andou takes Chifuyu and Kuki to the pool. Since Kuki still believes Andou is a lolicon, she plots to create a variety of situations that will make Chifuyu hate Andou and become disillusioned with him, but...

Andou heads to the beach for his family's annual family vacation with the Kushikawa family. Hatoko is determined to make Andou turn her way during this trip, so she attempts to follow the charm techniques she reads in a magazine exactly as they're written, but they all prove futile. At the very end, she even succumbs to heatstroke. When night falls and Hatoko has a chance to talk to Andou...

The Literature Club somehow manages to escape from Kudou's attack. However, Chifuyu and Hatoko have already had their powers stolen by her! While Andou suffers injury from Kudou's attacks, he awakens the second stage of his power!
