The Drew Carey Show

In a big dance number, Drew proves that he has recovered, and he is released from the insane asylum. He impulsively marries his former girlfriend, Nicki Fifer, in secret. When Kate professes her love and says she is ready to start a family, Drew unthinkingly marries her as well. Meanwhile, Steve leaves Mimi after finding out that she was the cause of Drew's temporary insanity.

Drew remains married to both Nicki (recurring guest star KATE WALSH) and Kate, neither woman realizing that she is not Drew's only wife. He splits his time between sharing his house with Nicki and staying at Kate's apartment--but Kate discovers the truth. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald try to establish squatters' rights on a remote section of a public park.

When Nicki (recurring guest star KATE WALSH) and Kate find out that Drew married them both, they get revenge and leave him alone. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald are still trying to build a house in the park. And Mimi attempts to use Mr. Wick to make Steve jealous enough to return to her and the baby.

Drew tries to win Kate back with a grand gesture, but it only makes things worse. She finally forgives him after a choreographed martial arts sequence, during which she beats Drew all over his house. Drew forgives Mimi for putting him in the asylum after she performs "I'm Sorry" with a rock band. Former professional baseball players BOBBY BONDS and JAY JOHNSTONE guest star.

The new department store owner, Mr. Newsome, promises to promote Drew but dies from a heart attack after a prank at Drew's Halloween party. Drew takes the body to a board meeting and attempts to use ventriloquism to convince the others to implement Mr. Newsome's good ideas. Meanwhile, to save money, Lewis goes to a low-cost dentist, Dr. Kresheck.

Drew finds himself reluctantly playing sex therapist to his parents, Beulah and George. Mimi gives advice to Beulah on how to invigorate her marriage, but the results threaten to ruin Beulah and George's relationship instead. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis build a "killerbot" to enter into a competition at the Warsaw, the gang's favorite hangout.

Drew and his friends are joined by the gang from "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," BRAD SHERWOOD, CHARLES ESTEN, GREG PROOPS and JEFF DAVIS, along with performance art band Blue Man Group and comedian JOHN RATZENBERGER. Drew awakens to find himself in a dog pound in Nashville, Tennessee, handcuffed to Ratzenberger, who helps Drew recall how he got there through a series of flashbacks.

It's Thanksgiving time, but the staff is anything but grateful after the store hires a new efficiency expert, Christine. She makes life miserable for everyone--except for Drew, with whom she's infatuated. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald's plans to finish their dream house are jeopardized when a busload of circus performers crashes into their truck.

Drew has ended his marriages to Kate, Nicki and Mr. Wick. Now, he is dating his new boss, Christine, who makes him feel submissive. Drew tries to assert his masculinity. He challenges Mimi, who is trying to prove she's still a wild woman--even though she's a new mother--to a series of drag races.

When Winfred-Louder drastically reduces the workers' salaries, Drew tries to earn extra money by renting a room in his house to a charming gay couple, Mitch and Les. In return, Mitch and Les help Drew get a better job at a classier store. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald ask the guys for advice on decorating their illegal house in the park.

Drew thinks he has a chance at being Kate's friend again after he helps her unearth a "lost" Elvis Presley record of Jewish folk songs at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But Drew's new girlfriend, Christine, becomes suspicious about his true feelings for Kate.

Mr. Wick's disturbingly handsome mother, Maggie (RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN - "The Thorn Birds"), tries to use her womanly charms to convince Drew to come back to work for her son--with disastrous results. Meanwhile, pleased with the success of the video résumé she tapes for Drew, Kate produces a video to help new homeowners Lewis and Oswald get dates.

Having been named co-manager of Winfred-Louder with recovering alcoholic Mr. Wick, Drew finds himself resorting to desperate measures to save the store. Since Mr. Wick only negotiates well when he is drunk, Drew must keep him perpetually inebriated during talks with a British buyer, Lord Mercer. Meanwhile, Oswald woos a pretty nurse, Colleen, by bringing a dead man back to life.

Drew's adventures in baby-sitting go terribly wrong after he finally convinces Mimi to let him take care of King Gus, Mimi and Steve's infant son, for the weekend. Observing Drew, King Gus learns some bad habits that jeopardize his chances of winning the Winfred-Louder "Beautiful Baby" contest. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis borrow a baby to enter in the pageant--with disastrous results.

Drew thinks he has found happiness when he dates a beautiful policewoman, Marlo. But after he discovers that, beneath her gorgeous exterior, she's an obnoxious smoker with a psychotic temper, he's too terrified to end the relationship. Meanwhile, Lewis feels rejected when the romance between Oswald and his nurse girlfriend, Colleen, escalates.

Drew has trouble when his friends avoid him, and a devious wild dog named Rusty starts stalking him in the neighborhood. But things get even worse when Drew invites everyone to his house in order to confront them--and he and the gang are trapped in the basement by Rusty and his feral pack.

When Winfred-Louder's new owner, Lord Mercer, appoints his flighty 19-year-old daughter, Milan, as the store's president, Drew asks Kate to teach Milan how to be a businesswoman--with disastrous results. After listening to Kate's advice and concentrating on work instead of her boyfriend, Milan is so frustrated that she terminates staff members and demotes Drew to the loading dock.

Since he is unable to get any respect from his own father, Drew sympathizes with the store's new president, Milan, who wants to prove to her father, Lord Mercer, that she can manage the store. Unfortunately, except for Drew, everyone on the staff hates Milan. Meanwhile, Lewis unknowingly eats Oswald's homework for an anatomy class--a human liver.

Milan invites Drew to her glamorous 20th birthday party in Spain, to be attended by numerous supermodels. Preparing to impress the women, Drew concocts a mysterious identity, which causes problems at the airport security checkpoint where Lewis and Oswald are now working. Under strict orders from their boss, they refuse to let Drew board the airplane.

When the usually peaceful Steve begins provoking fistfights everywhere from his baby's gym to the cosmetic counter at the Winfred-Louder store, Drew tries to figure out what is causing the outbursts. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis get new jobs injecting prison inmates with an experimental DrugCo "empathy" drug.

Milan's divorced mother, Lindsay, a former model, becomes enamored with Drew and his "simple" lifestyle. Lindsay tries to live like a poor person for a week to determine if she would be willing to marry Drew and sacrifice the large alimony payments she receives. Meanwhile, Milan loans her snobbish butler, Helford, to Mimi for a week.

Lewis desperately searches for a date to attend his ex-girlfriend's wedding with him--with no success. Meanwhile, Lewis' mother, Misty (recurring guest star JUNE LOCKHART - "Lost in Space"), reveals why he has trouble forming relationships with women and everyone else: Lewis is a genius, and his family has kept it a secret from him in the hope that he would live a normal life.

When an antipornography crusader publicizes the names of Cleveland's most frequent visitors to adult Web sites, Drew and the gang are at the top of the list, much to the shame of their mothers, all of whom are in town for Mother's Day.

The cast of "The Drew Carey Show" performs this episode without a script, using only an outline with no written dialogue. In the episode, Drew's home becomes a protected nesting ground when a bald eagle lands on his roof. The bird later vandalizes the house. Kathy (KATHY GRIFFIN - "Suddenly Susan"), a prospective employee who asks Drew out on a date, is traumatized when the eagle eats her dog.

Lord Mercer and Milan celebrate their financial success by giving the employees fancy new desks. They later learn that their accountant has cleaned them out, and have to lay off a bunch of employees. Drew, Mimi and Mr. Wick are forced into duty on the sales floor, where Drew sells underwear. When the store continues to flounder, Lord Mercer converts it into a discount outlet.
