Investigator Nick Tordone is a master of his craft, but as his declining mental health brings him to the brink of suicide, Tordone begins seeing psychiatrist, Dr. Frank Myers, to get a handle on these urges. When Dr. Meyers suddenly commits suicide at the mental hospital he works, Tordone goes undercover, as a patient, to discover the truth about the death of the one man he trusts.
