Advent is a time of expectant waiting and in Austria, age old traditions in the run up to Christmas are practised and on show throughout the country. Our visit starts in the village of St. Wolfgang in the Alps and proceeds down to Klagenfurt by the beautiful Lake Wörthesee. We follow radiant markets, amazing decorations and torchlight extravaganzas in this journey of pomp and peacefulness.
