Million Pound...

In the first of the series, we head over the Atlantic to meet the Campbells, a British family of five who are motorhoming for the first time as they travel across the America. They're quite literally learning on the job! They're thrown in at the deep end when they have to deal with a blocked loo before taking their home on wheels to the Grand Canyon where they are blown away by the views.

In this episode, we meet Giuseppe Alfonso from the Wirral, who has made the life changing decision to leave his stressful job as a financial director and live full time in his new motorhome. But Giuseppe isn't retiring completely, he's heading on a road trip to the Scottish coast to work on a campsite.

In this episode, we meet 33-year-old James Reilly and his mum Dionne who are on a road trip to a campsite in Worcester. James was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD when he was 25 but motorhoming has opened up a whole new world for him.

In Hereford, Lamorna and husband G bought a double decker bus 2 years ago and have painstakingly restored it into their new home on wheels. They want to get on the road and head for the coast but there's one big problem…G doesn't have his HGV licence! Will he pass the test and get them on the road?

Across the Atlantic, we catch up with Dale and Sue. They've had 6 motorhomes but for number 7 they went for a 5TH wheel. In their 13 years of RV'ing they've pitched up in 48 of the 50 states and today they're in one of their favourites - Death Valley! It's one of the hottest places on earth and with no access to water and no electrical hook up they have to plan very carefully!

This week we meet Denise and Liam from Bradford. Denise has spina bifida and is a full-time wheelchair user. Liam has a genetic condition called ocular albinism and is registered blind.

This week we join Stuart and Charlie Ruck, who along with their 3 kids, live full time on the road in their 24ft motorhome. Former nurse Charlie is now full-time teacher while Stuart runs his online kitchen fitting business.

In Bath, Tom Duckworth shows us how he's using a Land Rover to build a one-of-a-kind motorhome from the engine up! Tom has invested lots of time and money into this project. The pressures on to get the interior finished and find a buyer.

This week we join full time motorhomers Dawn and James Potter. 2 years ago, Dawn was fed up with her daily 4-hour commute to London and when her mum who suffered with Alzheimer's sadly passed away, she decided she wanted to travel.

We also join a million-pound motorhome convoy enroute to Goodwood Festival of Speed. Empire RV rent out luxurious American motorhomes at outdoor events in the UK and abroad. The half a mile convoy needs to drive to their location safely and unscathed which in wet conditions is a concern for owner James.
