Murder in Suburbia

DI Kate Ashurst and DS Emma Scribbins investigate the murder of a young woman, Nikki Pengelly, who was a member of a singles club.

One of the owners of Middleford's private golf club is found dead and handcuffed in the swimming pool on his raucous stag night. Ash and Scribbs attempt to line up suspects but the old boys' network keeps interfering.

As gatekeeper, school secretary Helen McKey could subtly influence admissions, but then a hit-and-run driver sent her on permanent sabbatical. Ash and Scribbs sort out which highly motivated parent had a motive for murder.
