Margot, a children's book author, travels to the family beach house on Cape Cod for one last Christmas with her siblings. With her parents gone, her siblings want to sell. Margot commissions her friend, a local artist, Christian, to paint a picture of the house as a keepsake. But soon, they hatch a plan to keep the house she loves.
