Will Loomis lives with his sister Violet, who has an intellectual disability. Violet wants a younger child to play with, so Will kidnaps children from the local children's home and tells them they're dead and have gone to heaven. Will and Violet try to make their farm a little piece of heaven for the kids, while the authorities investigate what has happened to the kidnapped children.
