Unaware of who they are to each other, Bai Luo Yin and Gu Hai meet at school and start a complicated relationship full of friction, and maybe something more...

Gu Hai confesses to Bai Luo Yin he's the one that has been messing with him out of admiration, but Luo Yin's annoyance only grows.

Bai Luo Yin plots his revenge against Gu Hai but all his plans backfire, landing them both in detention and spending more time together.

Gu Hai accidentally makes Bai Luo Yin sick and stays by his side while trying to help him get better. Luo Yin's friends confront him about his rudeness towards Gu Hai when he is so nice to the former.

Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin's relationship take a turn as they share a dinner together and Gu Hai takes Luo Yin back home after the latter drinks a bit too much. Gu Hai's parents cut him off for not coming back home after their marriage announcement.

Gu Hai invites himself over to Bai Luo Yin's home for dinner, to eat all the fish they caught. Afterwards, he changes his life around so Luo Yin won't find out his real identity.

After having dinner and small amount of liquor at Bai Luo Yin's home, Gu Hai acts like he is drunk and refuses to leave Bai Luo Yin's bed. The next day, Bai Luo Yin's mother meets Gu Hai at a restaurant in order to convince him to make him live with her and her husband; however her attempt fails.

Gu Hai reveals some of his most dark desires to Bai Luo Yin and tells him he does this with all his friends, when Luo Yin confronts Gu Hai's friends, he realizes these desires are reserved for him. Simultaneously, Luo Yin's aunt food shack gets destroyed by somebody and Gu Hai uses his influence to get her a new, better place. In gratitude, Bai Luo Yin asks Gu Hai to move in with them.

Gu Hai's girlfriend shows up and gets jealous after seeing him interact with Bai Luo Yin, she tries to test him and ends up breaking his phone in anger. After Luo Yin's father loses his job, Gu Hai helps him get a better one.

Bai Luo Yin discovers his relationship to Gu Hai and kicks him out of the house, Gu Hai confesses his feelings.

Bai Luo Yin feels Gu Hai's absence in his life, but when he goes to apologize he gets kidnapped... by Gu Hai himself. The two men settle their differences, and Luo Yin moves into Gi Hai's apartment.

Luo Yin and Gu Hai get physically closer after a medical scare. Gu Hai's savings are running out, and Luo Yin comes up with an idea for a quick buck.

Luo Yin, Gu Hai, and their friends gambles on a game of Mahjong where Luo Yin keeps on winning thanks to his eidetic memory. At night, in the house, Gu Hai states that it is very difficult for him to control his feelings in front of Luo Yin's friends and that it would help him if Luo Yin confesses his true feelings for him.

Gu Hai and Luo Yin's home life is interrupted by unexpected, and unwanted, family visits.

At Christmas, Luo Yin and Gu Hai invite Gu Hai's friends to eat at the apartment. They joke about the domination Luo Yin exercises over Gu Hai. After dinner, they share their first intimate relationship and they make their relationship official.
