Toby and Andy join Scott on a boat trip into Prince William Sound in search of the perfect icebergs for their vodka. Meanwhile, Chrissy takes Shane along as she faces her fear of bees in order to collect some of Alaska’s fireweed honey for a "Buzz" order.

Toby wants to harness the alleged aphrodisiac qualities that Alaskans associate with consuming caribou antlers, naturally shed from the species every year. The team tracks a herd of caribou and is unexpectedly joined by grizzly bears.

Toby thinks the distillery can use the safe, ginger-like root of poisonous devil’s club to make a spicy line of vodka. Shane, Chrissy and Toby kayak across the Eklutna Lake to forage the plant, while Scott tests the right proof to set the flavor on fire.

Convinced that they can distill a special vodka under the Northern Lights and in subzero temperatures, the team travels to Chena Hot Springs, hitching a ride on a tracked vehicle up a mountain before strapping on their snow shoes with their still in tow.

The distillery creates a new flavor using the springtime growths from the tips of the Sitka spruce tree -- climbing to the top of an almost 200-foot tree to harvest the ingredient -- and donates the proceeds to Alaskan rain-forest conservation efforts.

The distillery is commissioned to come up with both a new vodka flavor and a new cocktail for a local restaurant. The team heads out on a shrimping boat and must figure out how to make a tasty spirit with Alaska’s particularly sweet species of shrimp.

Toby, Scott and Shane set off on snowmobiles in search of an Arctic fungus called chaga, which Toby thinks they can make into a vodka. Andy and Chrissy set out to create a birch barrel so the distillery can age its own "Birch Barrel Whiskey."

When Shane hears about a preserved patch of rose hips -- the final ingredient in a recipe that the distillery has been working on for months -- Toby and Andy join him on a dogsledding adventure through Denali National Park to collect the little buds.

After long treks through glacial terrain and bear habitats, the distillery team finally comes across a field of the ingredient they're in search of -- fireweed. They quickly return to the distillery and work to bottle the essence of the flower in a vodka.

The Alaska Distillery team sets out to find yet another unique ingredient: ice worms. Toby, Andy and Shane risk their lives to fly to the top of the glacier mountains, while Scott stays behind to update the company's antiquated machinery.
