All the Best with Zita Keeley

An overnight in this glorious old town and Zita soaks up its European flavor with fine dining, beautiful scenery, rural farms and a terrific local food market. Back onboard the ship and she cooks with the Executive Chef and tastes wine with the Cellar Master.

Starting in Canada and ending in the US, these 2 destinations have Zita enjoying haunted stories in Halifax and devouring delicious delights, tasting different olive oils and vinegars and munching on famous popovers in Bar Harbor.

In this city with a multitude of restaurants and food, Zita gets to meet with some favorite chefs and find out what's special about their food, and of course tastes her way around Pikes Place Market.

It's a sunny day in Ketchikan and Zita spends the few hours there fishing for her lunch. After getting properly outfitted, she sets out on the boat with her Captain. Will she catch anything? Spot any whales or other wildlife out on the water?

Zita has one of Juneau's favorite food guides take her to some of the best spots for crabs, fish tacos and some amazing risotto and some locally made gin. In Anchorage, Zita explores the different foods of Alaska's biggest city from street food to fine dining.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery on Icy Strait Point, Zita learns about the Native Tlingit culture and gets to eat and drink some local favorites. In Sitka she gets to see a Tlingit dance show besides eating her way from comfort food to some of the best scallops.

From the small town of Homer, Zita visits Tutka Bay Lodge for a special cooking visit with the Chef before spending a little time on the famous Homer Spit and La Baleine Café. While hoping to spot bears in Kodiak, Zita and her Chef guide Joel forage for greens, visit a local b&b and get serenaded at the popular Monks Rock Café.

In this very European city in Canada, Zita is treated to a limousine ride around the pretty town while exploring the exciting food scene, learning about tea from a tea master, eating a variety of house cured meats and international cheeses and finishing up with a drive up fish and chips meal.
