Alex puts Michelle in grave danger by telling her the truth about Black Dagger, while Sam and Faber try to track Alex when he goes off the grid. Victor takes drastic measures to keep Natalie safe from harm, and Christoph arrives in New York undetected, to carry out a test run of Black Dagger.

The task force makes a move against Alex, setting off a string of events that finally reveal the mole's identity. Mark and Katya uncover the name of the operative behind Black Dagger. Victor and Natalie try to adjust to new circumstances.

Victor devises a plan to infiltrate the SVR and cut the head off the snake. Alex convinces Katya to send Sarah somewhere safe. New information brings Sam one step closer to finding Christoph, whose mission is suddenly complicated when Elizabeth confesses a secret.

In the explosive season finale, Alex comes face-to-face with Christoph and learns the deadly magnitude of Black Dagger. Mark and Katya devise a plan to stop the operation, but realize it may cost them their lives. The Rezident gains an advantage over Victor, but Natalie's actions may turn the tides for good.
