Anne and Lily have been a couple since their senior year of high school. After Lily Anne wants something exciting, something new. When Anne meets the eccentric Sofie for the first time, she's drawn to her immediately. They start to date, but most of their communication is via text message.

While interning for a publishing house, Anne develops an affair with her boss Esther, who is 20 years older. Anne immediately falls in love with the pretty, interesting, smart Sara. Soon they get into a relationship. Anne wakes up in her new apartment with an undefined feeling.
