It's the school holidays and poor Laila's been ill, she's not been out for days and now it's raining.

Sam and Kobi are determined to help fellow resident, Zak, who's been causing mayhem at home whilst wielding a pretend 'golf stick'.

Eli and Bella get to sit in the fancy car Ian is fixing at the garage. Ian's happy for the kids to look inside the car but Bella ignores sensible advice she has a very sticky accident.

When Sam brings her school photo home David and Laila seem remarkably quiet. When Patience asks to see the photos Laila and David claim that they haven't been given their photos yet.

Mali's not wrong when he assumes that he's missing out on playdates because of his disruptive little sister Yasmeen.

David doesn’t think Grandma Zainab has a real job, unlike other adults on the estate. However when Zainab takes Sam and David on a mission to pick up the community centre keys, they find themselves busy helping out all kinds of people on the estate.

When Sam and David hear a distant piano on the estate Kobi lends a hand to investigate. The trio find a ‘lost’ piano and are determined to reunite the instrument with its owner.

Bella’s not happy that Finn hasn’t shown up for the playdate. Later Finn reveals that he didn’t show up because of his fear of Bella’s cat.

David’s worried about who will look after the estate whilst Kobi is away. Mail and Zainab are sure Kobi has arranged a replacement and sure enough a temporary caretaker arrives on the scene.

Bella is spending a lot of time with her ‘other’ friends and it seems that cornet lessons, the community concert and hanging out with Laila seem a little uncool.

David and Laila become aware that someone is doing lots of jobs and fixing things without needing to be asked. Could it be Apple Tree House has its own fairy or magic genie?
