Aravaan (English: Snake) is a Tamil period film directed by Vasanthabalan and based on Su. Venkatesan's novel Kaaval Kottam. Set in the ancient times, the film narrates the story of Aravaans of Kotayur. Kombodhi is the leader of a tribe of thieves and comes across a solitary thief.
