Autograph is a drama inspired by director Satyajit Ray's film Nayak starring Uttam Kumar. Arun (Prosenjit Chatterjee) does justice to his role as a superstar when, after being insulted publicly by renowned director Manoj Sarkar (Biswajit Chakraborty), he bestows all his trust on a debutant director Shuvobrata Mitra (Indraneil Sengupta) whose one act changes Arun's life forever.
