Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 5

Written in 1809, the Concerto No.5 in E Flat Major Op.73 was dedicated to the Archduke Rodolphe. Dazzling, full of intense exhilaration and at the same time mysterious, the "Emperor" has conquered the whole world on the merit of its musical wealth. Daniel Barenboïm conducts from the piano the Berlin Staatskapelle Orchestra whose warm sound perfectly matches the spirit of Beethoven.
