Takashi, a 50-year-old bachelor, has no dreams, no job, and no home. He is staying at his uncle's house on condition that he takes care of his uncle who suffers from dementia. When his uncle dies, his son Mitsuaki returns home. The three old friends reunite with their childhood friend Sho. Takashi and his family's life goes by happily while running his uncle's fishing pond.
