Best Ranger Competition

In the first episode you will learn what it takes to be a Ranger, what it means to be a ranger and how all of their rangers skills will be tested over sixty two continues hours of competition.

The 2009 BRC, the toughest military competition know to mankind. The competition will start at Zero, Five, thirty hours... long before daylight.

Event to, the Darby Queen. Considered one of the most difficult combined obstacle, confidence course on any military instillation.

The Darby Queen took it toll from the forty-nine Ranger teams, now there are only forty-six to continue onto the next event. The spot jump. Rangers will execute a low altitude static line jump.

Crew Served Weapons, a weapon system that takes more than one person to accurately operate. Rangers will be tasked to accurately fire the systems from different positions and distances.

Only six hours into the event four teams have dropped from the event. The Ranger teams have already covered ten miles of the sixty four miles they will complete by the end of day three.

Up to this point the Ranger teams have shoot multiple ranges, competed across an expedient litter carry medical evacuation. Fifteen hours into the competition their about to start an all night long ruck march, known as the "Separator"!

Todd Field and the start of Day Two. Know as Day Stakes. Now there are only twenty two Ranger Teams left from the start field. More than half have been illuminated.

Day two is all skilled base events... but don't let fool you. You still have to Ranger up and stay mentally strong to compete in eight-degree water and a eighty percent humidity.

Forty-nine hours into the event only twenty-four of the original forty-nine teams are still left standing. These Rangers have completed fifty miles. All while wearing body armor, helmet, carrying an M4 ad a sixty pound back pack.

The Water Confidence Course. Something ever Ranger has had to complete as part of the qualifications to enter Ranger School. And will have to face it many more times during phase one at Ranger school, Ft. Benning.

Fifty-four hours down and just two events left, the canoe event and the traditional final buddy run to the finish and Ranger glory.
