He refuses to speak, so Johan, who is from the same country as him, puts on an act in order to draw the truth out of him. The details that Jacob gives about the accident surpass anything Marie had imagined, and the deeper understanding of Anastasia they provide shakes Kyros greatly.

Worried, Kyros arranges to meet with Norman. But as Marie hears him describe his apprentice, her fears grow.
