Black Lightning

In the season two premiere, Jefferson (CRESS WILLIAMS) and his family may have survived the attack by Tobias Whale (MARVIN KRONDON JONES III), but they’re not out of the woods yet.

While Jefferson breaks the news that he is stepping down at the school, Kahlil pays a visit to Jennifer in hopes of mending things and Tobias continues to enact his plan.

While Anissa plays Robin Hood by stealing from one of Freeland’s most powerful crime syndicates, Jefferson watches as his replacement undoes all his good work at school.

Jefferson confronts Anissa about her reckless and irresponsible behavior, leading to a fierce disagreement.

With Syonide gone, Tobias puts an increasing amount of pressure on Khalil. Meanwhile, Jefferson and Anissa investigate the hometown of a creepy man at the clinic.

When Black Lightning and Thunder return to South Freeland, they meet a clan of mixed-race moonshiners called the Perdi. Meanwhile, Lynn feels tremendous guilt.

When Black Lightning and Thunder are attacked by Looker (SOFIA VASSILIEVA) and her clan, they fight to get her to release control over the Sange.

Reeling from Jennifer’s disappearance, the Pierce family gather to find her. Although she and Khalil are off the grid, Tobias’s new henchwoman, Cutter, is closing in on them.

After Jennifer and Khalil escape, they take refuge in a barn and Jennifer desperately tries to save a now-feverish Khalil, who has grown worse from Cutter’s poisonous blade.

Still on the run, Jennifer and Khalil succumb to their feelings for one another and begin planning their future together. Meanwhile, Jefferson approaches Henderson with a favor.

Suspecting that Tobias is behind a recent attack, Jefferson brings the news to Henderson, but doesn’t get the answer he’s looking for. And Lynn confronts her past.

When Anissa returns to work at the clinic, she meets a domestic violence victim who motivates her to take action. Meanwhile, Gambi makes a discovery.

While Lynn works on two of the pod kids, Jennifer plots revenge and Jefferson receives some interesting news. Lastly, Anissa makes a shocking discovery.

Looking for answers, a worried Anissa sets out to find Grace (recurring guest star CHANTAL THUY).

In the first part of a two-part season finale, Jefferson tries to instill a Super Hero code for his kids, but Jennifer insists on taking revenge on Tobias for Khalil’s death.

In part two of the season finale, Lynn goes head-to-head with Dr. Jace; Gambi risks his life to save Jennifer; and Tobias moves to kill Black Lightning.
