If "Paranormal Activity" were to meet any Christopher Guest "mockumentary", Kris Black's "BLOOD EFFECTS" is it. Produced by film/tv veteran Bruce Reisman, Black's screenplay is wildly scary and entertaining; but also, takes the audience inside the world of low-budget horror movie-making. Part of the satire is in the casting of show-biz vets Shar Jackson & Jeremy "Baywatch" Jackson in lead roles.
